Somewhere Below Lava
Lava Falls is the last 'major' rapid before Diamond Creek, where most of the private trips wind up. This tune appeared on a trip when I was a passenger with Kevin Kopp, somewhere downstream of Lava.
Most of these photos are from the stretch between Lava and Diamond Creek, taken by Buddy Drake, Bud Thulberry, Greg Sharp and me.
The guitar I'm playing on this tune is a baritone that Kevin built, a truly amazing instrument.
