The Fifth Row

The Fifth Row is an eloquently conceived and masterfully presented homage to the American Rocky Mountain Northwest by classical guitarist Stuart Weber. The album features 11 pieces that were each recorded in a different historically significant theater including the Ellen Eccles theater in Logan, Utah, the Sheridan Opera House in Telluride,… Continue

In my opinion...dancing around a maypole is not as safe as it touted to be.

With that in mind I don't think the "Safety Dance" is all that safe either.

Who will answer the age old question.....zucchini or cucumber?

Here's the data thus far.…

Too Many Songs...Not Enough Time

So as usual, I try finalizing a few songs and oops! I find a new sound that I like in the process. So I have to stop everything and focus on this new sound which turns into a whole new song and once again, older songs get put on the back burner. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing. It's just some of those older songs start feeling neglected and I start feeling guilty for not paying them more attention. "It's not you, it's me. I swear. We just need a little time apart, older song."… Continue

Another tune

Wrote a pretty awesome tune (guitar part anyway). It's in 3:4 time and it's kind of a ballad about a misfit kid who lived fast and died young, wore a leather jacket, and probably rode a motorcycle. I haven't got all the words yet so we'll see where it goes.

Two songs on the old 4-track

Just put two songs down on the 4-track! And they rock!

One is a cover of "Sick Boys" by Social D; the other is one I wrote called "Prison Song". It's a good ol' American tune about your woman running off with someone else so you shoot them both and go to jail.

Now I just gotta see if Jay will do some drum mastery and keep my fingers crossed for a bassist to appear (hint hint).
