yeah those things are expensive...but they can work with any amp...(provided the resistance is correct). I really think that the hot plate is what the legacy needs. Out of all the tube amps that ive played, i think that is the one amp that NEEDS to…
Hey Bobby! Thats interesting, cuz I just cant can't get it to open up and breathe. Its so constricted on the lead channel. I played a friends Triple X combo the other day that just blew me away!
I'm starting to look for a trade. I could…
wow...this is a late comment reply to the one you sent me in february!! ..sorry. Yeah that legacy is a unique amp. It uses 1 Megaohm pots i believe, so its super punchy, (kinda thin) but cuts through like non other.... But also it is friggen loud!!!…
Wow, those are some pretty sweet guitars to have stolen, I will keep my eyes open for sure. I have a buddy that buys and sells alot of guitars, so he is always familiar with what people are trying to sell. I will make sure he is aware as well.
Here is the missing Jackson - USA Custom Soloist SN# V10676. This has a neck thru body with eerie desse paint front and back and was brand new. I'll probly give you the Jackson if you can track down both guitars. Let me know what you think.…
Here is my Hamer - Californian that was stolen, SN# 541903. It has a yellow solid maple flame body, all chrome hardware, with an extended fret broad angled to reach 27 frets, with upside down check mark inlays, there is a angled cut out on the butt…

motivated, very driven, just waiting for the other players.

yeah those things are expensive...but they can work with any amp...(provided the resistance is correct). I really think that the hot plate is what the legacy needs. Out of all the tube amps that ive played, i think that is the one amp that NEEDS to be cranked. Have you tryed slaving the legacy into another amp (or vice-vera?) You might find some bliss in combining different amps. (Andy Timmons is one example) But i mean, if all out, neutering metal distortion is what youre after, then the legacy may not be exactly what youre after. Its a lead amp, made to make every note cut through. Steve Vai even uses separate distortion pedals in front of that amp to do his heavier tunes, (like Bad Horsie) Triple X's are ridiculously gainy. Theres not many tube amps that get quite as fuzzy as that one does. I just think they kinda fuzz thier tone into the ground, personally. But if theres one thing we learned from Dimebag its that you dont have to have a think tone-rich distortion to make your rig sound like an army.

It uses 1 Megaohm pots i believe, so its super punchy, (kinda thin) but cuts through like non other.... But also it is friggen loud!!! That thing would sing like no other if you got a THD hot plate or something. This peice of equipment goes in between your amp and speakers, and serves as a true master volume....you can then crank the piss out of the legacy at a reasonable volume and get a much fuller tone.
