They can allow exemptions if the person or band qualifies. The exemption for two years costs $125. Call the work comp at Helena listed under work comp, regulatins.
Might want to check this out. The fine for not having it done right is $1,000 per occurance for both the musician and business hiring the musician. I don't know how to notify the whole Montana Musicians org. but they need to know this
