Co-writer of the International Bluegrass Music’s 1999 Song Of The Year and Gospel Recording Of The Year awards for "Three Rusty Nails". A bluegrass musician from childhood, he was a founder of Highstrung, a popular Florida band that recorded two acclaimed albums in
the middle of the decade. Jerry’s mandolin work is full of solid rhythm and nventive solos. In 1998 Jerry joined the acclaimed Bozeman based band
“Kanes River” where he went on to record albums on the Doobie Shea record label and tour for 6 years. Jerry continues to play and write music while enjoying Montana with his family.
