Try increasing your latency to something ridiculously high, like half a second or more, and see if the noise goes away. At least then you would know for sure if that was your problem.

Here's a quick overview about what I play and who with...: Currently playing with the Duplikates and The Free Radicals. Guitar is my strongest instr. but also play bass, mando, banjo, blues harp, etc. My real love is old fingerstyle country blues; Rev. Gary Davis, Miss. John Hurt, Big Bill Broonzy, etc. Would love to get together with a hot like-minded blues harp player, and/or fiddler, and/or mando player, or...? to cover some of that old blues, some Hot Tuna, the Dead, or...?
