- Here's a quick overview about what I play and who with...
- I have recently started a Real Book Jazz Jam at the Loft on Main in Missoula. It happens every other Friday from 5-8. I feature a different artist and a different "house band" every week. So far, about 20 different jazz musicians have met, mingled, played with, and listened to each other in the 3 prior sessions. My intention is to create a jazz "scene". So far, the event has received rave reviews from players and listeners alike. Call me details. 406-360-8746
The main "bible" for the jam are the traditional jazz standards out of the original "real book". So far, players have included John Rosette, Jim Wallace, Jim Chilcote, Lynn Vanderberg, Rachael Wogsland, Barret Meigs, Pat Montgomery, Ed Stalling, Jamie Kelley, Roger Moquin, myself, and several other musicians. The next Jazz Jams are June 19th and July 3rd.

I have even found Joe Pass instructional videos on you tube.....it is a great source.
