Fun times last weekend up at Big Sky. Good jam sessions in the pit next to the bon fire. McCourys rocked hard! James Schlender played great with Jason Carter. I know there was much more. I guess the best was John Lowell singing tenor in A & B. Move over Joe Rockafellow!

Hey Bluegrass lovers, my apologies to the Growling Old Men as I didn't have my poop in a group about Big Grass. Brother Mule is not on that bill BUT Growling Old Men will be there, John Lowell, Ben Winship and Dave Thomson! Pickin' Time!

Hey all, heads up for February 12,13 and 14! Big Sky Resort will host the third annual Big Sky Big Grass indoor resort FESTIVAL! Umm....let's see....McCoury Brother's Band.......Infamous String Dusters........Crooked Still......Brother Mule......oh my and a new bluegrass experiment, Flat Gap with Russ Smith, Tom Murphy and Jeff Shouse.......oh my goodness this will be a blast so book a room, grab your skiis and strings and head up to the mountains for some great music!
