Metal Bands in Billings
Why are there so many Metal Bands in Billings? I don't think we have enough traffic for all that anger.

Hmmm...well, each to their own, but I tend to wonder myself about music with such narrow parameters when it comes to melody and tends to be more high decible noise than anything else. You're right about the angst. Metal appears to serve as a fairly base emotional release. Doesn't engage much complexities or subtleties. Nor the intellect as the lyrics are usually so garbled and affected in their delivery that it's difficult to figure out the message. No offense to all you Metal lovers. Just one person's opinion.

I'm fairly new to Billings.. but I have been searching and don't see much of ANY kind of real musical happenings here compared to what I have been spoiled by.
Rock, Country, metal.. and anything in between.. Gads, I wish I could find an outfit to work with, if even as a temp sit in.. -
