When it comes time to record....
Hello fellow music lovers,
My band's looking to record an album here, within the next 2-8 months, depending on a lot of variables. We're looking to borrow or possibly rent some decent recording equipment for this endevor. And unfortunately, with things the way they are around here, we don't have bundles of cash to record in a fancy studio with state of the art equipment, so at this point we'll take what we can get. Anyone with any information is encouraged to reply. Also anyone with any recommendations, ideas, opinions, or any other helpful information, we'd appreciate a shout. Thanks.

Well that was quick. Found an old friend with the equipment, the experience, and the willingness to work for peanuts... All I need to do is meet up with him, and try to sell him to the rest of the band. I think this is going to be a great opportunity for us, especially considering we're definately not swimming (some of us live in a financial desert, actually) in cash, and live in Helena, where there's little more than politicians, churches, casinos/bars, and banks... Hopefully soon we'll have a cd to show off.
I'll keep this updated just in case things fall through and there's still people that feel like they can help out with any of the aforementioned requests.
