Trying this again... (Great Falls)

I'm a guitarist, songwriter, and occasional singer in Great Falls. I've been playing for six years.

Looking to start/join a band here in Great Falls. My main influences are Coheed and Cambria, Dredg, Hurt, and many others.

hardcore/heavy... uh pretty much anything except emo coheed and cambria shit.

Why did you bother replying to this thread, calling Coheed and Cambria "emo shit" when you can clearly see that they are one of my influences? There's no way you could have missed that in my original post, it's clear as day.

For your information, Coheed and Cambria are progressive, not "emo." I obviously wouldn't want to be in a band with someone who knows so little about music.

Not sure about Coheed and Cambria. I have listened to them and they are talented, but I think playing that in a local bar would go over like a lead balloon. That being said, I am in search of a guitar player for a cover band to play out 1-2 a month. Bands we are looking to play include Nickleback, Tool, 3 Days Grace, Sick Puppies, My Darkest Days...etc. Basically anything you hear on Q106 now. If interested let me know.
