Okay I finally gave in, being a drummer and all, I thought I might as well do a top 10 drummers post. Actually, list off as many as you want, I frankly think there are too many out there to be just 10. Remember, it's not a competition, it's a matter of personal preference. Site specific works that you found interesting.

All great drummers so far, these are my top picks in no order.

Dave Grohl-Nirvana

Taylor Hawkins-Foo Fighters (i have a theory that when dave grohl cut his hair off after nirvana it grew into taylor hawkins, seriously how do you drum for dave grohl !?!)

Josh Freese- The vandals and various other bands

Chris Greer- Catch 22, Streetlight manifesto etc.

Brooks Wackerman- Bad Religion

Aaron Montgomery- Trapt (the first Album he lost his complexity after that)

The Rev- Avenged Sevenfold

Gene Hoglan- Deathklok

Longineu W. Parsons III-Yellowcard, (not a fan but he's an excellent drummer)

I have to laugh at the fact that no one here mentioned Travis Barker once even though he's hyped as a really good drummer. He's not bad, more fast then anything though.

I know I've weighed in on this before but I forgot to include the originator of a new and different style of drumming, Carlton Barrett, inventor of the One-Drop style.
