Electric guitar players,
I'm considering "simplifying" my floor pedal situation. I have a Mesa/Boogie Roadster and 5 stomp boxes. I like the idea of using the G-System from TC Electronic, but am having trouble figuring out how I would get the channel switching on my amp to work within the G-System. Is it midi controlled? Do I need to get out a soldering gun?

Anyone have experience with this?
Thanks

Awesome. Thanks! I guess I didn't look long enough in the forums :)

Are you using a G-System? If so, what do you think of it?

Cheers.

I am not, but I do have a G-Major in my rig. I've never used the G-System so I couldn't tell you.

In my honest opinion though, for that price I would reccomend the Voodoo Labs/Digital Music Corp Ground Control and GCX units. Ground Control is a midi pedal that you can use to control your entire rig. GCX is a rackmounted audio switcher that works in tandem with the Ground Control to run pedals (left in the rack with GCX), and can also do channel switching. Everything is true bypass, also. It's also cheaper than the G-System.

Might be worth looking at. I hope to invest in both units in the near future.
