Montana Musicians community feedback...
Montana Musicians has now been live for several months. Our loyal members have remained active and the number of musicians who've signed on keeps growing. I'd say the effort is a total success so far.
After all these months you must have a laundry list of ideas or requests that would make this site more useful or fun for you. We'd love to hear about it!
Some things we'd like to see improve are the functionality of the music player. This is a music based community so we're hoping to have the ability to surf tunes instead of relying on the most recent 20 songs in the main player.
We'd also like to see a better, more functional events calendar. Perhaps with an iCal feed and a better way of displaying all of the events. As of right now there are over 200 listed. It's cool, but we'd like to make it better.

Facebook has the best tools I've ever seen for helping people add friends/old classmates etc-you've probably already checked that out, but if not, go for it. They also allow you to upload a list of friends emails (csv, outlook etc) for you to find people already on the network, which helps in quickly building your network. If they're not on facebook (montana musicians), it then automatically sends an email to invite them.
