I live in Cooke City, MT, so I´m looking to meet people in Bozeman, Red Lodge, Cody or possibly Billings.
I currently play bass, harmonica, and vocals in a band. I also do a lot of solo acoustic gigs. I like the band I´m in very much but they all have other commitments and I would like to find more work as a musician. We play once a month or so.
I have all the gear I need to play electric guitar and bass. I also have a PA, lights, recording gear, and a ride to haul it all. My current band is sort of Country Rock. I´m fine with that but would also go for something more on the Rock and Roll side. I like to see the people jumping up and down.
I am fine making the trip to come and jam with you. No commitment required from either party. I just want to meet people and hopefuly have it lead to playing for money.
Cheers!

Permalink Reply by Myles Merwin on September 19, 2011 at 9:41pm Hey David,
I'm a drummer who would love to do something more than the local bars (no offense and I'm too young to get in =P ). Would like to get into the gigs where age doesn't matter. More of the concert scene (Knitting Factory, Wilma, etc.). I could get my sister to join in if interested - she is a singer/songwriter/keyboardist in Music Tech Program at MSU (she won Bozeman Idol last year). I love everything from Adele to Metallica, Evanescence to Linkin Park, Alice in Chains to U2, Five Finger Death Punch to Flyleaf, 10 Years, Chevelle, etc. I wouldn't mind doing covers of good classic rock.. etc. either...
Sorry Myles, my computer would not let me leave a reply on this site. Arrrggg!
I´m in Euroupe until mid December but would like to drop by sometime after I get back. It´s always usefull to know a good drummer ( ;
