Help With Metal Vocals

Hey there. I'm really trying to convince my voice to do metal screams, but it's not going so well. I was wondering if anybody out there would be interested in supplying some vocals to a few of my newer tracks I'm working on? Since it looks like a lot of the metal fans on MM don't live nearby me, I thought it would be much more convenient to email whoever is interested some of my tracks.

i'll tell ya what if you get a chance hit me up on my cell i happen to have been playing drums for the better part of 30 yrs. now and what you r trying to do has me a little interested so give me a call maybe we can chat and see where it goes from there cheers........

Ok cool. And you sing or you just play drums? That would be great to have a drummer but I have that handled for the most part right now, just because I'm recording everything myself. I really need a singer though with some great or even just average range that can also scream. I'll let you know. relax or you'll blow your throat out. start soft, the best volume is a bit softer than a speaking voice.

I've tried screaming, grunting, etc., I just don't have a proper metal voice. Do you sing metal? I looked at your profile and noticed the doom and disco. Do you like evil disco, aka Static-X?

nah... i dont mix my doom with disco, that would be uncivilized.. ha... i did alot of vocal things for black metal and grindcore bands. i'm not sure if there is a proper "metal" voice. try just doing what comes naturally, have you ever got so pissed at someone that you screamed a bunch of profanity? wala..metal voice.
