For anyone looking to branch out creatively and put a progressive group together for writing, recording and live performances this could be a great opportunity.

Right now the greatest need is for a
bassist and
drummer. If you play
keys or
guitar I'm all about discussing how that would fit together as well. The chance to primarily sing lead vocals is very appealing to me and it's great to allow for flexibility within the group.
You: Please provide any info you can about your experience and current equipment, projects and ideas. The concept is for this to be an active, collaborative group where everyone brings something to the table. Any recordings, videos or resources demonstrating your work would be greatly appreciated.
Me: I am a strong lead vocalist and charismatic front-man with years of guitar and keyboard experience. There are several original videos and songs on my profile. You can also find me on facebook under Matt Sheils where I have added plenty of material.
My influences range from Beck, U2, Coldplay, The Roots, Tom Petty, RHCP, XX, and many more.
I write my own music. Cover tunes are fine as a compliment to whatever else we have put together. I create multimedia content and graphic design work under the business name Matt Made Media, which helps a bit with promotion as things progress.
Gear: I currently own a KORG Triton proX keyboard that is outstanding for live performance and recording. Otherwise I'm set with a great acoustic/electric Takamine and functional home recording equipment for demos and multimedia production. I work with Reason and Sonar software primarily.
Space: I have a great workspace available where I live for acoustic jamming and recording at decent hours of the day. When we are looking to crank it up we'll have to find a spot for that.
Look me up and share some ideas...
